Accreditation 101

Welcome to the Accreditation 101 Blog where you will find insight into your self-study process.

This has been set up as a way to include a brief snapshot of the Self Study Steering Committee meetings so everyone will be "in the know!"

Joan first meeting

The first meeting was held on August 22nd and the co-chairs of each committee were informed of the purpose and process of the pre-planning process for Ozarka's self-study by President, Dusty R. Johnston.

Co-Chairs for the Self Study, Joanna Fulbright and Joan Stirling presented additional information about the committee meetings and what members of this committee should be focusing on.

At this point of Ozarka's self-study timeline we need to be asking questions and educating ourselves on the process of preparing a self-study, NOT worrying about the answers.

As employees of Ozarka College, each of us should note any questions that arise so we can answer them when the self-study process begins in Fall 2009.

Nancy Dust was nominated and elected secretary to take minutes for the meetings.  Those minutes are available on the College Effectiveness Website.  In fact, all information regarding College Effectiveness and Self Study will be available on that area of Ozarka College's website. (The page is found under "Visitors & Friends" from the home page).

Watch for upcoming information on Criterion One:  Presented by co-chairs Kim Lovelace, Judy Cannady, and liaison, Karla Rush.
