Deadline Approaching To Apply For Fall LPN Programs

Ozarka College is currently accepting applications from those wanting to enroll for the 2010 Fall classes of Licensed Practical Nursing program in Ash Flat, Melbourne, and Mountain View. Applications are being considered for the 18-month program at Melbourne, the 11-month programs at Ash Flat and Mountain View, as well as the new 11-month evening and weekend program at Melbourne.

To be eligible for the nursing program, students must be currently enrolled in the four pre-requisite courses or have previously completed the required pre-requisites. Students that are eligible must also take the TEAS and Wonderlic exams offered from April 12-16 at the Melbourne campus.

The deadline of April 1st is quickly approaching. To apply, students can complete the online application for admission and select LPN as the program of study. Once students complete the application process, testing with the admissions office must be scheduled by calling 870-368-2024. Test scores from a prior semester will not be considered.

Study guides for the TEAS are available in the bookstore at each Ozarka location in Ash Flat, Melbourne, and Mountain View. There are a limited number available for check-out in the library. Career Pathways students may be able to check one out from career pathways office.
