Ozarka College To Host Movie: Iron Man 2

ironman2 Ozarka College will begin a new community offering each month in the John E. Miller Auditorium, utilizing the new 30 foot screen which was installed over the summer.

On Saturday, August 28, the college will host two showings of the movie, Iron Man 2, starring Robert Downey, Jr. There will be a matinee show at 3:00 p.m. and an evening show at 7:00 p.m. General admission ticket price will be $4.00, with a discounted ticket price of $3.00 for children aged 12 and under, senior citizens, and Ozarka students with student ID. Doors will open 30 minutes prior to showtimes and concessions will be available.

This movie is an action adventure with Downey, Jr. starring as Tony Stark, who after confessing his identity as Iron Man to the world, comes under fire from the U.S. Government who demands he hand over the powerful weapon that is the Iron Man suit. Meanwhile, a mysterious and dangerous foe emerges in Ivan Vanko, who creates a powerful persona known as Whiplash in order to exact revenge on the Stark family once and for all and destroy Iron Man.
