Ozarka College in Mammoth Spring will offer a five-week Introduction to HVAC continuing education course, beginning in October. Topics covered will include airflow, capacitors, ductwork sizing/design, EPA certification test preparation, gas furnaces, heat pumps, LP gas, refrigeration gauges, static pressures, super heat readings, testing system components, volt/ohms, and wiring.
The course runs from October 20 through November 20, meeting on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 4:30 to 7:30 PM. Tuition is $200.00 per student and includes a textbook participants keep after the course concludes.
