Registration for the summer I session at Ozarka College is open for new and returning students.

Ozarka College offers day, evening and online courses toward associate and technical degrees at all locations. Offerings include associate degrees in general education for university transfer, business, teaching, criminal justice and corrections and human services. Technical degrees include licensed practical nursing, culinary arts, general technology, automotive service technology and business technology.

The tuition rate at Ozarka College is an affordable $79 per credit hour, in addition to fees and textbooks.

Anyone planning to enroll as a new student at Ozarka College must take the ACT or Compass assessment. These test scores are required for placement in English, reading and math.

Compass testing is available at all Ozarka College locations free of charge. Anyone needing to test is encouraged to schedule an appointment at his or her location of choice. A photo ID is required to take the test. Tests may be scheduled by calling 870-368-2049 in Izard County, 870-269-5600 in Stone County, 870-994-7273 in Sharp County, 870-625-0411 in Fulton County or toll free at 1-800-821-4335.

All degree seeking new or transfer students taking six or more credit hours are required to attend one day of new student orientation. All students enrolled concurrently with their high school and Ozarka College are exempt from orientation until they are enrolled as full-time students.
