Governor Asa Hutchinson recently announced the appointment of Robert Wright to the Ozarka College Board of Trustees. His seven-year term will expire in 2024. Trustee Wright is a graduate of Melbourne High School and holds a Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Technology from Florida Hospital College in Orlando. He is an avid outdoorsman and is very active in his son Braiden's activities.  

Wright began his career at White River Medical Center in 1989 and has served in Administration for the past six years. As the Associate Administrator for Physician Services, Wright provides leadership and vision for continued development of White River Health System's service area. He manages 34 clinic offices and over 100 employed providers, covering seven counties in North Central Arkansas.  

"I am excited to be giving back to the community in which I was raised, " said Wright. Prior to his appointment as Ozarka College Board of Trustee, Wright served as President of Arkansas Society of Radiologic Technology Board from 2003-2004 and was a guest speaker in 2010. He received the Darmon A. Rhinehart, MD Lecture Award at the Arkansas Society of Radiologic Technologists Annual Conference in 2010. The award is the society's highest honor. The Rhinehart lecture award recognizes the recipient's service to Arkansas Society of Radiologic Technologists and commitment to professional excellence.
