CenturyLink Donates $5,000 to the Ozarka College Capital Campaign

CenturyLinkhas committed $5,000 to the Ozarka College Student Services Center Capital Campaign. Their contribution will pay to furnish an office in the Student Services Center on the Melbourne Campus.

CenturyLink, headquartered in Monroe, Louisiana, is the third largest telecommunications company in the United States and is recognized as a leader in the network services market by technology industry analyst firms.

"Ozarka is important to CenturyLink and to the  customers we serve in that region of  the state, " said Skip Layne, CenturyLink Area Operations Manager-North/East Arkansas and Mississippi. "We are happy to partner with Ozarka, because it improves the quality of life in the area. That is what we try to do with our products and services also, make life better for our customers in the areas we serve. " Mr. Layne resides in Monette, Arkansas and has served CenturyLink customers for more than forty years.

CenturyLink understands the importance of education, as they have met the needs of their customers by advancing technologically over the years. Currently, CenturyLink provides data, voice and managed services in local, national and select international markets through its high-quality advanced fiber optic network and multiple data centers for businesses and consumers.

The "Students at the Center " capital campaign is a bold step to raise the quality of educational and student support services at Ozarka College to new heights. The campaign will help ensure student success and will enhance the campus to create a more community-centered learning environment.

Donation levels range from $2,500 to $250,000 for the building naming opportunity.
