Leverett Hired as Ozarka College Science Faculty

Ozarka College is pleased to announce the hiring of new science faculty, Cara Leverett. She comes to Ozarka College from Viola High School, where she taught Anatomy and Physiology, Biology, Pre-AP Biology, and Environmental Science.

Leverett has a Master of Science degree in Biology (Biogeochemistry & Plant Ecology) from Western Washington University, a Bachelor of Science in Biology (Ecology, Evolution, and Conservation) from the University of Texas at Austin, and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Language from the University of Texas at Austin.

"I am excited about sharing my love of biology with students at Ozarka and helping students to pursue their goals and interests, " said Cara Leverett, Ozarka College Science Faculty. Leverett and her son reside in Moko, Arkansas. She enjoys gardening, hiking, kayaking and canoeing, fishing, and being outside.
