Carpenter Hired at Ozarka College

Ozarka College is pleased to announce the hiring of David Carpenter as the executive assistant to the president and special projects officer. Prior to this role, Carpenter served as an adjunct instructor at Ozarka College in Mammoth Spring and will continue teaching English classes until the semester ends.

Carpenter's experience in higher education also includes full time faculty at Ozarka College during the 2010/2011 academic year, director of instructional technology at University of Arkansas Community College - Batesville, and dean of instruction at Lincoln Trail College in Robinson, Illinois.

"We are proud, and fortunate, to have David joining us at Ozarka, " commented Dr. Richard Dawe, Ozarka College president. "We welcome him back home and are helping him adjust to this new role. "

Carpenter, who currently resides in Bethesda, Arkansas, is a native of Izard County and the father of two adult sons. He has earned a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Master of Arts in English from Arkansas State University (ASU).
