Ozarka College is now accepting applications for the 2014-2015 Wayburn Watson Memorial Scholarships.   Two recipients will be selected and will each be awarded $250 for Fall 2014 and $250 for Spring 2015.

In May 2013, the first annual Wayburn Watson Memorial Calf Roping was held to raise funds for scholarships to Ozarka College.   In May 2014, the second annual Wayburn Watson Memorial Calf Roping took place and $250 was awarded to scholarship recipients Makenzie McCord and Rainee Mills.   They will each receive another $250 for the Spring 2015 school year.

The deadline to apply for the Wayburn Watson Memorial Scholarships will be Friday, October 17, 2014.   Preference will be given to students entering the field of education.   Applicants may apply online at ozarka.edu and must meet the general scholarship requirements.
