Scott Hired as Director of Career Services

Ozarka College is pleased to announce the hiring of Megan Scott as the director of career services. Scott has worked in higher education since 2007 and served in a multitude of rolls. Prior to her most recent employment as an admissions counselor at Lyon College, she served as the assistant dean of student services at Lincoln Trail College in Robinson, IL.
"Having worked extensively in two-year college student services including oversight of another Perkins program, Megan brings a unique understanding of the grant and the needs of our students, " commented Dr. Josh Wilson, Ozarka College vice president of student services. "I have no doubt that she will be an asset to the program and serve our students well in this capacity. "
Scott holds a Masters of Liberal Studies with a concentration in English from Fort Hays
State University. She also has a Bachelor of Science in Fashion Design and Merchandising from Southern Illinois University Carbondale. When asked about her new role at Ozarka, Megan stated, "I look forward to aiding students on the journey to plan and achieve career success. Furthermore, I hope to continue to strengthen the ties we have with the community. "
