Ozarka College recently received notification from AffordableColleges.com that Ozarka has been ranked as the 36^th best community college in the United States! Not only did Ozarka College stand out in both quality and affordability among the more than 1,400 two-year colleges across the country, the College also received the highest rated value score in the state of Arkansas.

AffodableColleges.com's website explains that criteria such as loan default rates, graduation rates, and financial aid data are considered when developing a value score. "When calculating the rankings, we use the most recent data available from the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS). Run by the US Department of Education, IPEDS offers reliable and accurate insight into affordability, academic pedigree, and online/distance learning programs. Using IPEDS data, we developed a 1-10 rating system which informs the order of our rankings. "

The top ranking college earned a value score of 8.32 out of 10, and Ozarka was just a few points under with a 5.93.
