OZARKA COLLEGE ANNOUNCES 2009-2010 GRADUATES

grad spanglerOzarka College graduates and their guests filled the John E. Miller Auditorium for 2010 Graduation ceremonies held  Thursday, May 13, 2010.



After the Commencement address was delivered by Dr. Jason Wiles, diplomas were announced and awarded by Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Mike DeLong; Vice President for Student Services, Ron Helm; President, Dr. Richard Dawe, and Chair of the Board of Trustees, Mr. Ben Cooper of Melbourne.

Students completing their studies with an overall grade point average of 3.75 or higher in a certificate or associate degree program are designated as graduating Magna Cum Laude. Achieving this recognition in the Associate of Arts in Teaching program was Patricia Ann Crispell of Mountain View; Courtney Leigh Selph of Franklin, Healther Ashley Slater of Cherokee Village, and April Renee Taylor of Melbourne.

Graduating Cum Laude (with a GPA of 3.50 to 3.74) in the AAT program was Brittney Faye Carr of Higden and Brooke Elizabeth Carr of Higden, Kristyna Linda Harmon of Cherokee Village, Ted N. Harris of Franklin, Amy Katherine Love of Mount Pleasant, Daphne Yevone Morton of Mountain View, and Sophia Belinda Spurlock of Ash Flat.

Other graduates receiving an AAT degree were Tara L.
