On Thursday, December 1st, twenty TRiO students attended the Madrigal Feaste on the ASU campus in Jonesboro. The Madrigal Feaste is a 16th century dinner theater performance with singing, dancing, wassail toasting, and general fun for everyone. The ASU Chamber Singers are the Royal Court which is presided over by King Henry VIII. Other members of the ASU choir sing old songs and announce each course as they serve the meal.
Every semester TRiO tries to have at least two Cultural Events. Sometimes the events are held on campus, such as the Coffee House Night, Gourmet Night, etc. Other times, students will travel to area cities for events such as the Madrigal Feaste (Jonesboro), Murray's Dinner Theater (Little Rock), etc. The events provide students diverse experiences with the opportunity to socialize with peers.
