Adjunct Instructor for Early Childhood Education

In anticipation of increased student enrollment in the Early Childhood Education program, Ozarka College is seeking qualified applicants for an adjunct (part-time instructor) to teach in this area. This position is scheduled to begin August 2016 for the fall semester. Expected instruction will be for a range of courses in the ECD block, including, but not limited to: Fundamentals of Early Childhood Education, Healthy Safe Learning Environment, and Child Development.

Basic Qualifications:

• Master’s of Science in Education Degree in early childhood education or closely related field from an accredited college or university.
• Must hold an Arkansas Department of Education elementary or early childhood license or obtainable prior to the start date of classes August 2016.
• A minimum of 3 years successful teaching experience.  
• Demonstrated interest and commitment to teacher education.
• College teaching experience preferred.  
• Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
