Adjunct Instructor for Associate of Science in Education

In anticipation of increased student enrollment in the Associate of Science in Education program, Ozarka College is seeking qualified applicants for an adjunct (part-time instructor) to teach in the area of Education. This position is scheduled to begin August 2016 for the fall semester. Expected instruction will be for a range of freshman and sophomore education courses, but are not limited to: Introduction to Education and Introduction to K-12 Technology.


Basic Qualifications:


  • Master’s of Science in Education Degree in early childhood education or closely related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Must hold an Arkansas Department of Education elementary or early childhood license or obtainable prior to the start date of classes August 2016.
  • A minimum of 3 years successful K-12 teaching experience.
  • Demonstrated interest and commitment to teacher education.
  • College teaching experience preferred.
  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
