Ozarka College - Mountain View to host Beginner's Word Processing Continuing Education Course

Ozarka College in Mountain View will host a beginner level Word Processing course to be offered through Continuing Education beginning in February 2016.

This three-week course, being taught by Frances Bullard, will teach students a wide variety of computer skills. Some examples include how to create and rename folders; save files in a folder; create, format, edit, and print documents. They will also learn how to underline, bold, and italicize text; use line spacing, spelling and grammar check; cut and paste; copy and paste. Additionally, students will be taught how to save and open a file, rename a file, delete a file, create tables, letters, labels, and envelopes, and insert pictures and clipart into documents.Other topics will be added as time permits.

The course runs from February 19 through March 4, meeting on Fridays, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The tuition is just $25.00 per student, $20.00 for ages 60 and over.   Seating is limited and pre-registration is required by February 12, 2016.
