Ozarka College has awarded the first Son Lamb Honorary scholarship to Madison "Sidney " Stracener. Sidney resides in Horseshoe Bend and is majoring in Health Information Technology. She will receive $250 to be applied to the spring 2017 semester.

This scholarship was funded by members of the community who accepted donations to go towards the scholarship while hosting a tribute to E.F. Son Lamb, "A Sonny Night in August." Son has supported, promoted and encouraged not only businesses in North Arkansas, but individuals as well and the committee is so pleased to honor Son with a scholarship in his name.
