Ronny Rush, Ozarka College Director of Physical Plant, retired on May 15, 2015 after thirty-three years of service. Mr. Rush was honored at a retirement celebration on Friday, May 1, 2015. Family, friends and colleagues in attendance shared stories, voiced their sincere appreciation, and wished him many happy years of retirement.

Ozarka College president, Dr. Richard Dawe, welcomed guests and then shared a story about Ronny's ingenuity and many talents. He thanked him for his decades of service and then presented a retirement plaque. Dr. Dawe commented, "Ronny has been such an important presence and leader for so many years. We'll miss him dearly, and hope he stays close enough to the College to allow us to still draw on his expertise when needed. "

Jason Lawrence, Ozarka College Vice President of Administration, spoke about the respect and appreciation he has for Rush. "Ronny's contributions over the past three decades have been instrumental in ensuring this institution is both well-maintained and safe for the thousands of students who have entered its doors. "

Mr. Rush is known for being easy to work with, dependable and incredibly knowledgeable. His presence and expertise will certainly be missed by Ozarka College.
