Agriculture Program at Ozarka College Now Accepting Students

Published on April 21, 2017

Ozarka College recently received approval from the Arkansas Department of Higher Education to begin offering an Associate of Science degree in Agriculture, and the program is now accepting applications for new students. Once a student has completed the admissions application, they may register for summer and fall 2017 courses. Assistance applying for financial aid is also available at any of Ozarka College's four campus locations in Melbourne, Ash Flat, Mammoth Spring or Mountain View. Students may also register for courses online through myOzarka at www.ozarka.edu.

This associate of science degree is designed to provide students with a broad knowledge of agriculture and agribusiness applications. Through a partnership with Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, graduates will have a seamless transfer into agriculture degrees offered at A-State. Students will also be equipped with skills preparing them to manage the family farming operation, or to enter employment within the Agribusiness World of Work.

For more information about the Agriculture program, please contact Rylie Bevill, Ozarka College associate director of admissions, by calling 870.368.2024 or e-mail: admissions@ozarka.edu.
