History of Performance Art and Practice Coming to Ozarka College - Mountain View

Published on August 19, 2016

Ozarka College in Mountain View will offer an eight-week History of Performance Art and Practice continuing education course, beginning in September. Topics covered will include the history of performance art from the second half of the 20th Century through contemporary works in the 21st Century. This will be done through readings, videos of artists works and discussion.

Students will be engaged in various exercises to prepare them to create and perform their own performance art pieces within the context of what they have learned from past performance works. The course runs from September 8 through October 26, meeting on Wednesdays, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.

Course instructor will be John Chiaromonte and tuition is just $25.00 per student, $20.00 for Senior Citizens (ages 60 and up).   Seating is limited, so please contact Lindsay Wilson-Galloway, Director of Ozarka College - Mountain View, to register today.   Lindsay is available by phone at 870.269.5600 or email: lhgalloway@ozarka.edu
