Ozarka College is pleased to announce the recent appointment of Deltha Shell as the Associate Vice President of Planning and Institutional Research. Prior to this role, Shell served as the Director of the TRiO Student Support Services program at Ozarka College.
"Deltha's exceptional performance as Ozarka's TRiO Director and her critical thinking and organizational abilities made it clear to me that she was a perfect fit for her new role, " said Dr. Richard Dawe, Ozarka College President. "Leading the planning and institutional research efforts of a college are absolutely essential as we strive to do far more to support student learning with very limited resources. "
Shell holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Lyon College at Batesville, a Master in Business Administration from University of Arkansas in Little Rock, and a Specialist in Community College Teaching from Arkansas State University. She is also currently nearing completion of her Doctorate of Educational Leadership from Arkansas State University.
An Evening Shade native, Shell has been employed by Ozarka College since 2003. She has worked as an adjunct faculty member, academic advisor, and program director. "I am looking forward to serving the college community in a new capacity, as well as extending the role of institutional research to support the College as whole, " said Shell.
