Ozarka College Announces Tour D’ Art 2026: “Destination Art”

Published on March 31, 2026

Ozarka College invites the community to experience the creativity and cultural richness of its annual Tour D' Art event, returning this year with the inspiring theme, "Destination Art." The event will be held on Thursday, April 23, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the John E. Miller Education Complex.

Originally launched in 2012 by the Friends of the Paul Weaver Library, Tour D' Art was created to celebrate and promote the arts throughout the region. Over the years, the event has grown into a vibrant showcase featuring a diverse collection of artists from within the Ozarka College family, local schools, and surrounding communities.

The Friends of the Paul Weaver Library remain dedicated to advancing art appreciation, recognizing its profound educational and cultural benefits. Research and experience continue to show that involvement in the arts supports improvements in math and reading skills, enhances cognitive ability and concentration, and builds confidence and cultural awareness.

"Tour D' Art is more than an exhibition--it's a celebration of creativity and community," said Dan Lindsey, Librarian. "We are proud to provide a space where artists and the public can come together to experience the transformative power of art."

The event is open to the public, and all are encouraged to attend and support the arts in our community.

For more information about Tour D' Art, please contact Dan Lindsey at 870-368-2055.
