On April 9, 2026, the FNBC Student Commons Area at Ozarka College was filled with enthusiasm and positive energy as attendees gathered for the Foundation Spring Gala, marking a record-setting success for the event. The Foundation hosted this year's Gala with the theme, "Pearls of Wisdom – Shaped by Education," with FNBC Bank serving as the presenting sponsor.

Dr. Josh Wilson, Ozarka President, welcomed the crowd of more than 275 attendees, thanked constituents, and spoke about the successes shared by the College over the past year. Following the welcome, Daniel Busch, Ozarka Foundation Board Chair, offered a blessing, after which attendees enjoyed a gourmet dinner prepared by Ozarka's Culinary Arts Department.

Guests were served a wonderful meal, followed by remarks from proud alumnus Patrick Moody, who shared his story with attendees. Moody highlighted the significant role the College and Foundation scholarships played in his success.

College Trustee Mike Watson then prepared guests for the live auction that would close out the evening's festivities. He announced that Sissy's Log Cabin and Saracen Casino Resort had donated items, and that each highest bidder would be entered into a drawing for a chance to win at the conclusion of the auction.

Auctioneer Tony Watson then auctioned several items generously donated by local community members and businesses. Following a successful auction that raised significant funds for Ozarka scholarships and programs, Watson offered closing remarks and thanked everyone in attendance at the 2026 Spring Gala.
