Ozarka College Holds Successful Industrial Signing Day
Published on May 1, 2026
Ozarka College proudly hosted its 2nd annual Industrial Signing Day, recognizing graduating students from its technical programs officially committing to careers with regional industry partners. The event celebrates student achievement along with the strong collaboration between Ozarka, local employers, and school districts. Ozarka extends its sincere appreciation to its partnering school districts that participated--Salem, Mountain View, Rural Special, Melbourne, and Highland-- and for their continued support in preparing students for technical education and career pathways.
A special highlight of the event was the recognition of Bad Boy Mowers and Urban Forge, whose continued support of Ozarka's technical programs has played a significant role in economic development and student success. Their investment in workforce development and commitment to hiring locally trained talent exemplifies the strength of community collaboration.
"Industrial Signing Day is a powerful example of what can be achieved when education and industry work together," said Dawsyn Cole, Director of Workforce Development. "We are proud of these students for taking this next step and grateful to our partners, like Bad Boy Mowers, who continue to invest in building a strong, skilled workforce right here in our region."
Industrial Signing Day reflects Ozarka College's commitment to hands-on education, industry alignment, and student success. Ozarka remains focused on preparing graduates who are ready to contribute from day one.
