Ambrose said, "I've had the privilege of instructing some on-ground aviation courses this spring, but I am definitely thrilled to be joining Ozarka's Aviation department in a new way. " She added, "I look forward to hearing the buzz of our airplanes at the airport everyday as our students pursue a challenging, yet, rewarding career. I'm excited to soon begin working with a knowledgeable and driven group of individuals who are also highly passionate about sharing the world of aviation with new aviators or visitors, alike! "
Ambrose graduated summa cum laude in 2017 and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Aviation Management with a minor in Forensic Science, from Central Christian College of Kansas in McPherson, KS. She has been in and around the aviation field since 2012, is certified by the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) and has earned a Private Pilot's License and Ground Instructor Certificate.
As a pilot, Ambrose understands the level of difficulty our students must persistently overcome to achieve their goals, as well as the amazing joy and confidence which follows the completion of those goals. In her spare time, Becca shares her love of aviation with her husband, Tim. "He has been the biggest supporter of my continued pursuit of further ratings and licensure, including my desire to continue growing my abilities as an aviatrix, " said Ambrose. They both love flying together when they have an opportunity, adventuring the beautiful Arkansas outdoors with their loyal furry friend, Charlee, and spending time with their youth group students from church.
