Ozarka Honors LPN and RN Graduates at Capping & Pinning Ceremony

Ozarka College celebrated the accomplishments of Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) and Registered Nursing (RN) students during the Capping and Pinning Ceremony held on December 9, 2025. The event recognized graduates who have successfully completed rigorous nursing programs and are now prepared to enter the healthcare workforce and serve communities across the region.
"These Ozarka nursing graduates have met a remarkable challenge with heart, grit, and excellence," said Ozarka College President Dr. Josh Wilson. "They leave Ozarka ready to serve, to lead, and to make a lasting difference in the health of our communities."
LPN candidates recognized were Dakota Burton, Rachel Cooper, Kayla Curtis, Angela Fleming, Meshelle Hamilton, Taylor Hill, Laken Hollis, Jessica Johnson, Riley Knight, Jacey Lord, Baylee Painter, Katlin Pierce, Andrew Riley, Audrieana Roberts, Shaun Simpson, Madison Williams, Amanda Cary, Trista Crow, Bella Dito, Kalea Fowler, Samantha Franks, Bailey French, Kailey Lyons, Bradon Manuel, Kathleen Martin, Cody Owens, and Melissa Sneathern.
A highlight of the ceremony was the presentation of Nightingale Awards. This year's recipients included Riley Knight, Melissa Sneathern, and Jessica Larson. Each honoree was recognized for outstanding clinical performance and for embodying the compassion and integrity associated with the nursing profession.
Ozarka College extends sincere appreciation to its nursing faculty and staff for their guidance and unwavering support, as well as to regional healthcare partners who provide essential clinical training and mentorship. The College also thanks the families and loved ones whose encouragement played a vital role in student success.
