The Ozarka College Foundation has selected Shane Linn of Izard County to serve on the foundation board of directors. Board members serve a five-year term and work collectively to support the mission of Ozarka College to provide life-changing experiences to individuals through education. The Ozarka College Foundation Board encourages participation and volunteerism in a variety of ways and foundation members serve in a public relations capacity to represent Ozarka College in their individual communities.
Shane and his wife, Billie, own and operate two businesses in Melbourne; Townsend Spice & Supply and Quality Supply & Floor Coverings. He has been an avid supporter of area sports teams, charitable fundraisers and local events. "I am very excited to be part of the Ozarka Foundation Board. In a rapidly changing world I think bringing back trade opportunities for young people is critical. It is critical to our community that Ozarka College continues to grow," stated Shane.
The Foundation Board has members from Izard, Fulton, Sharp and Stone counties. "Shane will be a great addition to the Foundation Board. He is committed to advancing education and opportunity in Izard County and the surrounding Ozarka College service area. I look forward to working with him, " according to Suellen Davidson, Director of Development at Ozarka College.
