Ozarka College welcomes Brioney Edwards as the new Lead Faculty for the Culinary Department.
"We are excited to have Brioney accept this critical role on the academic team, " said Dr. Chris Lorch, Ozarka College provost. "Brioney brings both enthusiasm and student-focused learning to the Culinary department, and we look forward to her leading the program."
Edwards will lead instruction for Ozarka College's American Culinary Federation (ACF) accredited culinary arts program. Students who complete Ozarka's two-year program will gain invaluable experience showcasing talent by catering events; obtain real-world practice in operating the Ozarka Culinary Caf`; and be availed multiple internship and on-the-job training opportunities.
"I am absolutely delighted to move into this new role at Ozarka as the Lead Faculty. I look forward to the opportunity to involve our community in such a rapidly growing program. It is such an honor to be a part of this institution, and to be a part of the lives of our students. " said Brioney.
A lifelong resident Melbourne, AR, Edwards holds an Associate of Applied Science from Ozarka.
