We are proud to share that the Aviation program recently passed the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) inspection. Under 14 CFR 141, Certification of Pilot Schools, colleges are required to undergo bi-annual inspections by the FAA to determine programs fall within the guidelines for recertification. On July29, 2023 Ozarka College was inspected by the Principle Operations Inspector assigned to Ozarka's program.
"Our Aviation program once again passed this important review with flying colors!, " said Dr. Richard Dawe, Ozarka College president. "We are pleased to be able to provide future aviators with the finest education at the lowest cost nationally. "
During this inspection, the FAA inspects all aspects of the flight program. From training methods, to record keeping and ultimately the amount of first-time pass percentage over the preceding 24 calendar months. It was determined that Ozarka College Aviation had a first-time student pass rate of 94% in all stage checks, end of course testing, FAA knowledge testing, and FAA administered practical exams. This ranks Ozarka College Aviation among the top flight programs nationally.
