Ozarka and Salem Forge New Partnership for Tech Training

Ozarka College and Salem School District are pleased to announce a new partnership agreement for Salem high school students starting this fall 2025. The new collaboration articulates career and technical education pathways for Salem students, offering multiple program options.
"The Salem School District is excited to partner with Ozarka to provide our students with these technical training opportunities, " said Wayne Guiltner, Superintendent of the Salem School District. "We look forward to working with the great staff at Ozarka. "
Beginning in August, Ozarka will offer Salem students technical tracks in high-demand, high-wage fields such as Automotive and Diesel Tech, Nursing, Machining and Advanced Manufacturing, and Welding.
"Ozarka is thrilled to partner with Salem Schools to offer these technical training options to their students, " said Dr. Josh Wilson, Ozarka College president. "The Salem administration have worked closely with our team to develop these learning opportunities for their students, and we look forward to a long-lasting collaboration with Salem to offer high-quality education paths for Salem students just up the road here in Ash Flat. "
Ozarka is a designated regional Secondary Technical Center which allows the College to offer secondary technical training to area high school students, a vital resource for developing career pathways for students.
Representing Ozarka College along with Dr. Josh WIlson, college president were Marcus Orf, vice president of advancement and workforce development, James Spurlock, campus director. Representing Salem High School is Wayne Guiltner, superintendent and Cody Curtis, principal.
