Saturday, October 7^th, the Ozarka College Foundation held its 11th annual fall golf tournament. Twenty-five teams of golfers assembled at the beautiful Coopers Hawk Golf Club in Melbourne to play an 18-hole scramble with proceeds benefiting the Ozarka Foundation. Again this year, First National Banking Company served as corporate sponsor for the event.



The Championship Flight winners were: 1^st Skeeter Beene, Eric Harris, Tommy Duncan, Matt Haley; 2^nd Tim Dockins, Jesse Dockins, Rick Fowler, John Shelton, 3^rd Ben Cooper, Joe Cooper, Doyle Cooper, Daniel Taylor.

First Flight winners were: 1^st Ron Patterson, Jimmy Jones, Kevin Patterson, Larry Duncan; 2^nd Nick Davidson, Sam Cooper, Levi Taylor, Cody Moser; 3^rd Joe Russell, David Cantrell, Rocky Morgan, Jesse Whitmire.

Second Flight winners were: 1^st Danny Moser, Connie Moser, Jake Moser, Carroll Manry; 2^nd Dusty Johnston, Mike DeLong, Chaney Coleman, Scott Pinkston; 3^rd Dennis Wilson, Elaine Wilson, Clay Moser, Linda Moser.

Individual hole contest winners included Daniel Taylor, Abby Cooper, and David Cantrell. Mike Cone won the cash prize in the putting contest.

According to Development officer, Suellen Davidson, "The tournament was hugely successful! The weather was picture perfect and the support from the Ozarka Foundation board members and college employees was overwhelming. The tournament would not be considered a success if not for our sponsors. First National Banking Company has been the corporate sponsor for this event since 2001 and the college is grateful that FNBC sees this tournament as beneficial to the community through the funding of scholarships."

Davidson adds, "We are also appreciative of Cooper's Hawk Golf Course for hosting and helping to organize the tournament. Jim Cooper worked alongside Ozarka's tournament planners to ensure a successful and well organized event. He, along with staff of the Hawk's Nest clubhouse restaurant provided a wonderful venue for our event."
