Ozarka College Selected as Aspen Prize Eligible Institution

Ozarka College is honored to announce that it has been named one of only seven community colleges in Arkansas eligible to apply for the 2027 Aspen Prize for Community College Excellence, one of the nation's highest recognitions for institutions dedicated to student success.

Aspen Prize finalists and winners are determined through a comprehensive, multi-stage review process conducted by independent experts and national selection committees. Awarded every two years, the Aspen Prize highlights community colleges that demonstrate exemplary performance in several areas, including teaching and learning; certificate and degree completion; transfer and bachelor's attainment; workforce success; and equitable access to programs. Eligibility for the Prize reflects strong and improving outcomes that position recipients as national models of excellence.
