Local Legends Headline Ozarka Foundation Fall Concert
Published on October 7, 2025
The Ozarka College Foundation recently hosted The Fall Concert and Dinner, at Ozarka College's Mountain View campus. The concert featured talented musicians: Brad Apple, Tim Crouch, Danny Dozier, Ken Loggains, Sam Cobb, Gary Rounds, and Pam Setser.
This powerhouse group of musicians highlighted the fiddle, guitar, bass guitar, mountain dulcimer, mandolin, percussion, spoons, and as always, great vocals. Prior to the show, approximately 90 guests enjoyed a BBQ dinner prepared by Samich's Rolling Grill, owned by Kyle Bruton, a proud Ozarka College alumnus. Everyone moved to the Amphitheatre for a two-hour performance by these local legends. The annual fundraiser is made possible each year by the generous donations from area sponsors such as presenting sponsors, Lee Ann Thomas - Remax Edge Realty, Tim Wilson - Stone County Farm Bureau, First National Bank of Izard County, Mathew Gray Dellinger - Circuit Judge Division 3 campaign, and White River Health; as well as our corporate sponsors: Mtn View Chamber of Commerce, First Security, Mtn View Chevrolet, Kara Byars - Circuit Judge Division 2 campaign, First Service Bank, The Inn at Mtn View, ANKR, Centennial Bank, Walmart, Harps in Calico Rock and Harps in Mtn View. We would also like to thank Jon Raney with Raney Recording Studio for providing the sound equipment.
The Foundation also congratulates the winners of the evening's raffle drawings held at the conclusion of the event. The following prizes were donated by local artists & businesses: a Two-night stay donated by Pinewood Cabins with a gift certificate for 2 breakfast plates donated by the Rusty Cup, Guided Fishing Trip & Dinner for Two donated by JoJo's Catfish Wharf, Two-night stay with dinner included donated by Ozark Country Inn Bed & Breakfast, handcrafted rocker chair donated by Wallace Woodworks and a poster autographed by all the performing musicians.
"Our community support continually makes this event the great success it is today, " said Kim Lovelace, Mountain View Campus Director. "We look forward to next year's event with excitement as the community continues to support our students through these important and fun-filled events."
