Ozarka College

The Instructional Council is composed of the chairpersons from the divisions of Math/Science, Business Technology, Arts and Humanities, Social Sciences, and Allied Health as well as the Directors/coordinators of Adult Basic Education, Library, Ash Flat campus, and Mountain View campus.

This Group represents the instructional component of the College.

1. Provides input and direction to the instructional component of the College in coordination with the Vice President of Academic Affairs. 
2. Serves as a means of input for faculty and instructional staff in regard to instructional and institutional issues. 
3. Provides direction and follow-up to ensure the implementation of the Measures of Student Learning component of the Institutional Assessment Plan for the College. 
4. Provides leadership in the development of new programs and courses to enhance the instructional are of the College. 
5. Serves as a means of communication in regard to academic policies, program evaluation, catalog requirements and changes, course scheduling, and other instructional functions.
