Diesel Technology Instructor

Ozarka College seeks applicants for the position of Diesel Technology Instructor.  The successful applicant will be responsible for assisting in developing courses and curriculum, recruiting students, and providing high quality instruction in the Automotive and Diesel Technology Programs.  The Diesel Technology Instructor may provide classes at both the Ash Flat and Melbourne Ozarka College Technical Education Center locations.  Other duties include serving on college committees, advising, course and program assessment, and other duties as assigned.   


Minimum Qualifications


  • Associates Degree in Automotive Service Technology
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in Diesel Technology
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability and willingness to recruit new students through community engagement, high school visits, and other activities.
  • Ability and willingness to work effectively with college committees, campus organizations, and other educational institutions and to be involved in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities

Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience and Certification in Diesel Diagnostics and Repair
  • Teaching Experience in the field of Automotive and Diesel Technology
