The Board of Trustees of Ozarka College invites nominations and applications for the position of President. The President is the chief executive officer of the College reporting directly to a seven-member, Governor appointed, Board of Trustees. The successful candidate will ideally take office in January 2025.
Ozarka College is a comprehensive technical community college nestled in the foothills of the Ozark Mountains with campuses in Melbourne, Ash Flat, and Mountain View, Arkansas, with additional technical training locations in Ash Flat, Mountain View and the Melbourne airport for the Commercial Pilot aviation program. The College currently serves approximately 1,000 students, generating over 650 FTE, with around 100 full-time and 50 part-time faculty and staff. The Colleges four county service area with a population of approximately 57,000 is well known for its abundance of rivers, lakes, state parks, and attractions.
Major industries include tourism, healthcare, manufacturing, and agriculture.
