Mountain View Campus Director

Ozarka College is seeking qualified applicants for Campus Director at Mountain View.  The Campus Director, acting under the direction of the Provost, is responsible for providing current and prospective students with quality support services to help them achieve their education goals. Working collaboratively with the Registrar, Student Services, Advancement, Division Chairs, and faculty, the Mountain View Campus Director provides administrative coordination and student guidance to enhance the quality of Ozarka College experience in the Mountain View and Stone County service area.  The Mountain View Campus Director is a twelve-month position.

Position Specific:

The Campus Director is responsible for providing management, service area outreach, and administrative support for operations of the Ozarka College-Mountain View campus. This position requires a high-energy and enthusiastic person to coordinate student processing, recruitment, data compilation, community engagement, and physical condition and security of the Mountain View campus. 

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Assist students through the admissions process and provide appropriate communication to applicants concerning acceptance status and fulfillment of admissions criteria.
  • Advise and register current and prospective students, including dually enrolled high school students in the Stone County service area.
  • Coordinate continuing education and community events at the Mountain View campus.
  • Collaborate with Student Services and Advancement personnel to facilitate prospect outreach to maintain sufficient enrollment at the Mountain View campus.
  • Supervise the campus Administrative Assistant.
  • Maintain efficiency and effectiveness in daily operations.
  • Maintain professional etiquette, attitude, conduct, and appearance.
  • Provide friendly and helpful student service.
  • Represent Ozarka College in an active and positive manner in community events and in high school visits for recruitment, and maintain positive relationships with high school administrators in the Stone County service area.

Other:

  • Assume other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Provost.

Qualifications:

  • An Associate's Degree is required, Bachelor’s Degree or or higher preferred.
  • At least two years work experience in an educational setting preferred.
  • At least two years of supervisory or management experience preferred.
  • Computer skills in basic office software such as word processing, spreadsheets, email, and student data systems.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and use good organizational skills to take initiative and coordinate daily workload.
  • Proven interpersonal skills both written and verbal to promote understanding, respect for others, and clear articulation of the College mission.
  • Commitment to personal integrity in all working relationships with others.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the responsibilities and skill required to fulfill the position responsibilities.
