Ozarka College received the honor of being selected for the prestigious Title III grant from the U.S. Department of Education which began 2001.

Over the course of five years this grant supports faculty development and the establishment of an endowment.

As part of Title III, the first official Development Officer, Jim Fenton, joined the effort in October 2001 to work with the Ozarka Foundation Board of Directors and enhance the development of the college.

On October 12, 2005, Fenton passed away and Ozarka lost a valuable member of its family.

Jim's family has established a memorial fund to the Ozarka College Foundation Scholarship program in his honor.
